I've got an interview with a consultancy firm and I want to impress.
I love my red lipstick, would you wear it to an interview?

I would but as a stain. Red lips, when done right look very polished. Best of luck on your interview!

I would not wear red to an interview...not even as a stain. I would stick to a soft muted color like a mauve shade or pink (nothing bright). Leave the red for after you get the job. I don't know which company your interviewing for but some of the consultancy firms that I've dealt with were quite conservative in dress and cosmetics. Congrats on landing the interview.

I would go super neutral at an interview. Like Shelly said wait til you hear you're hired. Good Luck!!

No red...go natural soft pink/peach/mauve colors...keep it simple especially for an interview.

No. Wear as little makeup as possible n try not to be too trendy. Research human resources interviewing tips. Have clean nice nails and try to wear your hair up.

If you wear red often and are comfortable in it...go for it. I would pair it with a soft and polished look. the red just might make you the candidate that sticks out from the bunch.

If your really want to wear red go with a sheer lipstick like a lip butter and keep the rest muted

Yes I would but as a gloss because I don't use lipstick.

It depends on where you're interviewing. You have to think about the culture of the company. Are they lively and young, conservative, or very laid back? You should also wear your makeup close to what you would wear at work.
