What's all the hype over the BB creams?

I just wanted to know. I heard so many people recommend them and say they're awesome but I've never been told why how are they different than like a normal foundation or something like that. I may be so completely out of the ballpark with this one I'm not even sure what is considered lol so clueless. Thanks.

Its basically a tinted moisturizer with some added benefits like vitamins and minerals and spf. Its supposed to help improve thr over all look of your skin rather than just correct and conceal it. If you have pretty good skin already then I think they're useful, I can't use them however because I need full coverage. I did use too faced's bb for a couple of days and I liked how it felt under my foundation so they might make a good primer too.
