I've had very dark circles for as long as I can remember. I've come a long way as far as concealing, but I want to know if there's something more I can do? I'll post before and after pictures (sorry the before isn't too flattering)

And after, as you can see, the indentation is still there, and in some lighting a my dark circles are still visible.

Before you sleep, put some spoons in the freezer.
In the morning, press the scoop part (the part food is put in) over your eyes until not cold. Then turn the spoon over and press the back against the puffy/dark circles underneath and around your eyes.

Hope that helps. :)

Is it, like, for vitamin c or something? I've always had dark circles like this, even if I get 13 hours of sleep they don't differ much. I just have unnaturally thin skin there I guess. :c.

Also, if anyone else has dark circles like this, lemme know, because I've personally never seen one and that would make me feel a lot better. Crazy dark circles UNITE.

That's impressive! (and I like your hair!) I've tried 3-in-1 before but I'm paper white in the winter and it turned orange on me. I really liked the coverage though, I'll probably try it again this summer. :)

I have hereditary circles, the skin under my eyes is *very* thin and pale, so when I don't get enough sleep it shows more than it would on some people. Also, I have bad veins underneath my eyes, so I try to cover those as much as possible as well. It doesn't help that my eyes are slightly deep set, so there's also more shadow underneath my eyes than on people who don't have that problem. I like to use a correcter and then a highlighting concealer on top - right now I'm using the covergirl correcter (I like it but I have to prep my eye well before putting it on and make sure to not use too much, otherwise it'll look cakey and dry) and the maybelline dream lumi concealer (LOVE this product, planning on repurchasing when I run out).

I have them too, since I'm darker you can definitely tell because of the unevenness

Oh gosh, mine are really terrible hereditary circles. Even as a young child and toddler, they looked JUST AS BAD... I am naturally a pretty dark olively color, but I haven't really exposed my face to the sun without lots of protection over the past 12 years or so-since I am much paler than I was as a kid, they definitely stick out more because of the contrast! Nothing I have tried has worked-high end or low end... NOTHING! Everything just turns my under eyes a muted grey color.

I am definitely going to try some of the products mentioned in this thread!
I have ordered a salmon color concealer but I am still waiting for it to arrive, hopefully that will mask the dark circles and keep my concealer from looking grey =/

I have the exact same issue! and the only thing that has ever worked for me is mac! mac sculpt concealer is amazing it has subtle orange tones to it that counter act the blue from the dark circles and they have more shades than most places! also I use mac quick response eye cream morning and night and even though it hasn't erased them it still lightens them to make them wayyyyyy more manageable! :) its pricey stuff but it works and streaches a long way! I would pay even more for this product if I had to!

I have them as well. Always dark as heck but rarely puffy. No before /after pictures at the moment (and I'm going to sleep now) but I'll try to post soon! I haven't found a concealer that completely covers yet. I found Benefit Boiling (sp?) too heavy. I have had the best results from Door Skin Nude and Lancome Effacernes.
Hearing all these tips help though!

I would try an eye cream targeted for puffiness and dark circles. I know origins has an eye cream with a slight pink undertone and it's awesome!!

I have the same exact problem. It looks like your dark circles are from broken capillaries showing through your thin skin, rather than from puffiness (just my assumption from looking at the picture, it looks identical to what I have). I've heard that creams containing vitamin K help heal the capillaries, but I have yet to try that, I want to make sure I do my research and find one with good reviews. As for concealers, I have tried SO many! Benefit's Erase Paste had good coverage but it only comes in 3 colors and all were too dark and peachy for me, and it dries cakey and creases like none other. Cargo JetLag was too shiny. The best I've found so far is Rimmel MatchPerfection because it doesn't crease, but it still doesn't have enough coverage to completely hide them.

I have them worse than you girl I've had them my whole life even my six yr old sister has them.

I agree with Ashley P. I have them suuuper bad so erase paste doesn't cover it completely but it does help quite a lot.
