So, I have seen lately there have been a few people inquiring about the Anastasia Renaissance Palette and that it has been getting very good views. I'm actually interested in getting this palette but I also have some reservations.

I currently own then Amrezy Palette by Anastasia and quite frankly I'm not super impressed by the color pay off in this palette. I only use two shades out of the entire palette (that being caramel and morocco) for transition shades, but all of the other colorful shades don't seem to be all that colorful to me. Is there anyone else who has this same problem?? I feel like this palette needs "more work" in order to get a true color pay off.

I really like the shades in the Renaissance palette but worried if I purchase it that I will have the same problem as the Amrezy Palette. Sometimes I just find that I hate spending money on shadows and I have to do more work to get the colors to be pigmented the way I want them.

So is there anyone else that can relate and can give me a more thorough depiction of what the renaissance palette looks like as well as how do you generally feel about the Anastasia Beverly Hills shadows overall? Do you consider them high quality or basic?? I'm interested in hearing what you guys think.

I wonder if they use different manufacturers for the various palettes, because from what I can see, there is a lot of inconsistencies. For instance, I have the Artist palette and Self-Made palette, and the Artist palette is TERRIBLE. A few good ones, but mostly very chalky, dusty, and just lacking in pigmentation. But the Self-Made palette is lovely! While not my favorite palette of all time, I've had zero issues with any of the shades. And then if you want to talk about the eyeshadow singles, that's a whole different ball game. I've only got a few but they are some of my favorite shadows! So... I don't know about this new one. It looks beautiful but I, for one, will be waiting for more reviews.

Well thanks kailey for your input. You are probably right about the different manufacturers. I never even thought of that. Cuz for me I just couldn't understand why so many of these Youtubers were raving about her palettes because based on my one palette I thought they were just raving because they were sponsored.

I'm like you that I want to wait on more reviews with this Renaissance palette to know if it is up to par. N thanks for sharing now I want to try some of their single shadows!!

The formula of the Modern Renaissance is slightly different. Stephanie Nicole has a really great and informative video on YouTube about the palette. I find this palette to be my favorite out of the few ABH palettes I have. I find the consistency to be softer and more buttery (similar to Lorac's pro formula). Because of this, I find I get a bit more fallout, but it's not a deal breaker since I always do my eye makeup before foundation :)

Thanks Michelle. I'm going to have to look at Stephanie's tutorial. Would you say the shadows are well pigmented?

They are definitely pigmented. It's such a pretty palette! I hope ABH makes all the shades into single shadows.

I've never had an Anastasia palette before this one and while I haven't had it for a long while so I haven't used all the shades but all the ones I have used are very soft and pigmented (similar to Lorac but I think these blend like a DREAM). Seriously I was in shock the first time I used it, the quality is really nice I think. I would highly recommend getting it!

Thanks Michelle in Molly! So far from what I'm hearing the feed back about this palette seems to be good!
