I've had mine pierced, I personally didn't find it to be very practical to have however I did keep it for a long time before I realised that lol, I personally preferred having the curved barbell in mine so that it wasn't visible to other people and would change it sometimes when I felt like it, it doesn't hurt to have pierced at all, feels like a tiny sting like nothing at all and is over super quickly. If you go to a good piercer, they won't recommend that you wear a horse shoe bar in it for at least 3 months (meaning you'll get the curved barbell) and for me the healing was fine but don't play with the piercing, I was like oh I won't play with it like how does that even work? But you'll find yourself pushing it back and forward with your tongue, try not to cause that can cause the piercing to reject. I haven't worn by smiley in for such a long time but I'm pretty sure where it was pierced is still open haha. Also, for the first couple of days the balls on the piercing may Indent on your gums and be a little tender. I'm usually all for all things piercings but I personally didn't find my smiley being one of my favourite piercings.

That's great Shaye :)
Rosalie, just a heads up for next time, piercing and tattoo related threads belong in the Style section. I'll move it for you today but just remember this next time!

I got mine and had it in for 4 days, it hurt to brush my teeth and was very sensitive, the balls also kept falling off which was a hassle. I only recommend it if you really want it.
