Which contour is better Anastasia or chocolate bar.

I haven't seen the Chocolate Bar but I personally think the Anastasia palette is a waste of money. Unless you do makeup on lots of different skintones you'll probably only use one or two of the shades.

You're most likely going to be better off buying a single contour shade. Are you looking for cream or powder?

Tbh I prefer the Nyx one. Maybe swatch it at Ulta before you buy the ABH one. I think if you do, you may change your mind and save $20:)

I'm not really fond of the shades in the Anastasia cream contour palette. I think the colors are too warm and to be honest, the consistency of the cream is pretty thick and needs warming up. Also, Adding an oil to make the consistency more blendable might help, but it's just doesn't sit very well on the skin. Not really worth the splurge in my opinion.

And as Charli said: Isn't the Cocoa Contour a powder formula?

I second Rebecca too, with her statement. If you are only really looking for a good good contour- and a highlight shade, you could buy those separately to fit exactly for your skin. I mean, unless you do makeup for others or just really want a range of colors :)

I agree with Tiia and Charli. the cream contours from anastasia aren't nearly as warm as the powders, so if you can swatch them I would suggest it. for light or fair skin they would be way too warm but for medium skin with a warm undertone they may be cool enough to work. I also want to add that the top faced cocoa contour shades are on the warm side as well and I'm not a fan of the highlight shades. I have the kvd palette (which is powder) and I use all the shades (the darker for a more dramatic contour, the lighter for an everday subtle shadow, and the center warm shadow for around my temples) but a lot of people aren't able to do so because one color is too light or dark for them so it wouldn't be worth their money, as an example. But Like everyone else said, for the most part you only need one shade to create a shadow and one to highlight.
rcma makes contour shades, they have a quad as well as a highlight/contour palette that are both cheaper than the anastasia and the too faced. they also have some deeper cool toned foundation shades that can be used for contour. their make up artist is super helpful if you call or email.
Senna cosmetics has a contour kit that seems pretty good, again i haven't tried that one in person but the reviews are all raving.
quite a few companies have cream contour sticks that I haven't tried out personally but I've heard good reviews for. colourpop just came out with some and smashbox comes to mind.
if you have a concealer or cream foundation you like already you could use one shade lighter for a highlight (if the depths are too far apart you can always mix the next lightest with the one that matches you for a better/closer color)
just a few suggestions if you do decide to take our advice.
