Hey there, I have short hair and I keep on having the urge to pull out my hair wen it's dry. What can I do to stop this since I really love and want long hair. How can I make it grow faster? PS: I don't have any money so I'm open to any DIYs and any suggestions.

You're pulling out your hair? I highly suggest seeing a doctor, having the compulsion to pull out your hair is a mental disorder called trichotillomania and needs to be treated accordingly before attempting to grow out your hair.

Bt I don't have any money to see a doctor and I don't want to end up being bald 😕😔

I'm not trying to scare you but if you don't see a doctor the compulsion could move from not just the hair on your head but also your eyebrows and eyelashes. It's a serious compulsion disorder that needs proper treatment. You can't grow out your hair is you're pulling it out.

Hi Sylvie. I also struggle with that issue. You need to keep your hands occupied with objects, wear caps or hats, tie your hair, whatever works for you. I know how difficult it is. Absolutely keep it clean at ALL times since you know it's your trigger. I got greys and bald spots because of doing this for 20 years now. You need to be strong to stop it. I haven't managed to stop it completely, but I've become much better. I'm trying to regrow my hair since none of it is the same length and that gives lots of frizz. It's no fun... If you have questions please don't hesitate to ask me.

I'm not joking about wearing a wig. It can be a great help. Check out Beckie J Brown on YouTube. She has great videos on the topic. She wears wigs often.
