I have one huge red inflamed zit on my forehead. It's under neath my skin and I don't know how to get rid of it. I have medication from my derm but I don't know if that will get rid of it. I am going to camp this week on Thursday and I really don't want to wear foundation.

I would just use the medication the dermatologist gave you.

If you don't want to get a medication to remove it I place a small amount of toothpaste on all my zits. I know it sounds weird but the ingredients in toothpaste actually dries out the zit; making it go away much quicker. Then afterwards I'd suggest washing your face well and after doing that routine a few times you should see noticeable results.

I would not recommend using toothpaste. It's not formulated for skin so it can burn or leave a scar. I have an actual scar from stupidly trying to use toothpaste.

I would use the medication the dr. gave you if its a topical medicattion and take some Advil as directed. If your medication is oral, I wouldn't take the Advil unless you check with your dr. first to make sure there are no contraindications with you rx. Are your meds topical or oral?

Because Advil is an anti-inflammatory, it will help expedite the healing by reducing redness, pain and swelling. Do not over use Advil though, taking over the recommended amounts or taking it long term will damage your liver.

Hey I firstly would use the medication that your dermatologist gave you then, I would try tea tree oil it will definitely reduces the swelling and makes it smaller, lastly I would use toothpaste I agree with Amaya N but I also agree with Alexis C because although toothpaste gets rid of it so fast, dries it out , reduces the redness and size you will have to use a natural white toothpaste otherwise it won't work and if you put it around the skin of the acne its going to make the whole area red and look worse then before so I would be careful with that one :)
