I need extreme help I don't want to put any bleach in my hair but I have tried to put L'Oreal lightener blonde but all it's done is dying my roots blonde and the rest of my hair is extremely bright red I died this with manic panic vampire red and I tried lightening it and it's not working and it looks extremely bad and I want to take it out of my hair and I really don't want to use so if there's anything that you can do can you please say something.

Okay this may sound long and confusing as hell but try and hear me out lol- one of the main laws of color is that "color does not lift color" in simple terms, if you put lightener on your previously colored hair, the results could be scary. it MAY lift a couple levels but it will not be remotely close to the blonde you managed to lift your roots to (y
our roots lift
ed so easily because that would be your "regrowth" aka untouched , virgin hair, which takes color wonderfully. it will be much more damaging to just try and go over the red and you will most likely not be satisfied with the results unless you know some awesome toning methods haha. my best advice to you (from my own personal experience as well as on my clients) is color balancing your hair. this can also be known as stripping color which scares people, but I have a great formula for color balancing (which is made to remove any previous color you've put in your hair). although it sounds like a process, you need to get as close to a clean canvas as possible in order to achieve the color you're aiming for. there's steps and formulas involved so this probably sounds overwhelming as hell to you, so please don't hesitate to shoot me a message on Facebook with any questions you may have, always happy to help.
