So I went to a salon with a picture of a balayage I wanted. The stylist said she could definitely fix my hair because my stepmom made it orange. I liked the orange better than what this stylist did. I told her I didnt have to be so blonde. Basically just wanted a toner and to blend my hair better. Well she FRIED MY HAIR BEYOND BELIEF! She caused breakage in the middle of my head! My hair is STRAW, she left huge chunks of blonde and brown with NO blending and she chopped off three plus inches in an AWFUL choppy uneven cut! My hair never grew until I got pregnant. Then it was past my waist. Now its above my bra strap. I'm so devastated. I just want my long, healthy brown hair back. She keeps trying to "fix it". I'm so scared. I don't plan on another pregnancy for another FIVE years! I can't wait FIVE years for my hair to come back </3 what should I do? I paid 120!!

Definitely go back, complain, and get your money back. I think in some salons the owner/manager will personally fix it at no additional charge but definitely go in and make sure you speak to the owner/manager about the poor service!

I'll have to! The sad part was, this was a gift. I was supposed to get my hair done as a pick-me-up. I just had a baby in April. But I LOVED my long brown hair. As an after baby gift to help boost my confidence, I was supposed to get a balayage I picked out done. Now I have hair I HATE. I've cried for days now. I just want my long pretty brown hair back. I wish I never did this.

I'd go back, get a refund, and make them fix my hair. I'm sorry that happened to you and that they are idiots.

Honestly, it's rare that a salon will give you a refund. they will fix it for you though. you need deep conditioning treatments. as someone mentioned, olaplex is wonderful. get pureology hydrate shampoo and conditioner and hydrate hair mask. it's the best shampoo/conditioner for dry and damaged hair. your hair won't be restored back to 100% until it all grows out but you can certainly make it feel/look a lot better in the process.

I had a very similar experience happen back at the end of November! I ended up having a ombre colors I didnt even want (even tho I had many pictures) and my hair was very short from what it was and uneven cut. I had to go threw 3 dyes to get my hair back to a color closest to my brown and then luckily my usual stylist I use does DreamCatcher hair extensions so I got 4 'buddles' of those which was a life saver! I would highly suggest them but I must say they are quite pricey. you can check out there website and use the locator to find people in your area that does them, if your interested! (Ill leave there website link below) They are mirco-bead extensions. Oh almost forgot I used olaplex too for when I had to get my hair dyed back to my natural color and also the at home one! Its a life saver!!

I'm truely sorry you had this happen and hopefully you can get some help! Best of luck :)

I feel you. Last year right before my 23rd bday a stylist burned more than half my hair off it was SO short it wouldn't even go in a ponytail and it was so gummy and ruined.
Had to argue for a while to get a refund.
It's definitely a rough time but stay strong!

I feel your pain! They might not do a refund but someone should fix it up for you - but don't wait too long to return and complain or else they could say it's too late and they aren't responsible. I'm hoping they do the right thing. I had massive breakage after a normal tone up a few years ago and I was devastated. I have naturally curly hair too so it was hard to get adjusted to a short hair do but maybe they can fix the color to a point where it's something you can handle until you can get your hair back to a healthy state. Best of luck!!

This is it now. I went to another salon and they told me how they heard of the stylist I went to and how she ruins hair. This is more blended but I still don't like it. It's warm toned on top and a cool tone on the bottom

I think the final result is beautiful. it's very difficult to do a color correction and have it be 100% perfect. and co sidering what they were working with, I'd say it's a great transformation! and from a stylists point of view, that before picture is awful. I'm baffled how anyone could let you walk out of that salon with that as the finished product. noway should that stylist be doing hair. He or she needs some serious training.
