Doing another test run of the Tarte Rainforest Of The Sea Foundation! The first time I wore it it looked amazing until about 7/8 hours into wearing it, which I think is great on my normal to oily skin. However, I didn't leave my air conditioned house so I'm testing it out today by going to work followed by dinner! Also, here's another look with the Tarte Grav3yardgirl Swamp Queen Palette!

Face:
-Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer
-Tarte Rainforest Of The Sea Foundation in Light Medium Beige
-NYX HD Concealer in Light
-Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Powder
-Kevyn Aucoin The Sculpting Powder in Medium
-Tarte Grav3yardgirl Swamp Queen Palette (Sweet Tea, Does This Thing Really Work?, Gator Wings)

Brows:
-IT Cosmetics Brow Power
-Chella Defining Brow Gel

Eyes:
-Lorac Behind The Scenes Eye Primer
-Tarte Grav3yardgirl Swamp Queen Palette (Natural Peaches, Uncommon, Mancat, Haunting)
-NYX Retractable Liner in Black
-Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara

Lips:
-Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks in Bow N Arrow and Requiem

I applied my primer all over my face, focusing on my t-zone, with my fingers. I dotted my foundation on and blended with the Sigma F80. I applied my concealer under my eyes in a triangle, down the nose, and the Cupid's bow and blended with the Beauty Blender Micro Mini. I set under my eyes with the RT Setting Brush and the rest of my face with the Danielle Powder Brush. I applied my bronzer to my cheeks and forehead with the ELF Total Face Brush. I contoured my cheekbones with the Morphe E8, applied my blush to my cheeks with the Danielle Blush Brush, and highlighted the tops of my cheekbones, down the nose, and the Cupid's bow with the RT Fan Brush.

I lightly filled in my brows with the pencil and set them with the gel.

I applied my primer from lash line to brow with my finger. I applied Natural Peaches above the crease with the ELF Blending Eye Brush. I applied Mancat on the inner and outer corner with the ELF Eyeshadow Brush and through the crease and lower lash line with the blending brush. I applied Uncommon to the center of the lid with the RT Base Shadow Brush. I applied Haunting to the inner corner and brow bone with the ELF Defining Eye Brush. I applied my liner to my tight line and waterline and applied one coat of mascara to my bottom lashes and two on the top.

I applied Bow N Arrow with the applicator, let it set, then applied Requiem over it with the applicator.

I love how your lipstick goes so well with your hair color - which I also love! I really like your shadow here too - it brings out your eyes really nicely - how are you liking the tarte rainforest foundation? The coverage looks good here and more of a matte finish - is that how it is for you?

Diana, thank you! This is only my second time wearing the foundation and so far I'm loving it! It has a very natural finish when you first apply it and goes matte but not too matte once powder is applied. The first time I wore it it actually looked radiant and almost dewy and I think that's because I used the Becca Backlight Priming Filter. I think this foundation can definitely have any kind of finish depending on what other products you pair it with, which I think is great for all skin types!

Very nice well after you test it for a couple hours can you post an after photo? And let me know if you felt the need to touch up throughout the day of it was fine in terms of staying power - I've been curious to see how it performs so thanks for posting this :)

Very pretty look, as usual! How do you like the Swamp Queen Palette? I've seen mixed reviews, specially on the range of color that seems to close to each other, what do you think of it?

Diana, sorry for the lighting, I'm at work, lol, but here's the foundation after 5 hours! I don't feel the need to touch up or blot, I think it's holding up very well! If you'd like I'll post another photo at the very end of the night right before I take off my makeup (:

Genevieve, thank you! I'm loving the Swamp Queen Palette! I don't have any problems with the color range at all. The only issue I have is with the bronzer, it's pretty patchy so I probably won't use it again but the blush and highlighter are lovely (:

I love that foundation! I just got a sample from sephora, and I've worn it twice so far. The first time, I used a sponge to apply, and NO setting powder at all (except on my concealer) it dried down to a nontacky finish so I was able to blend my blush and highlight seamlessly. I got SOOOO many compliments on my skin that day, it was crazy. The second time, today, I used a brush, and I applied powder all over (RCMA no color) and again, it's so nice! You can't even tell I'm wearing foundation when I wear this, definitely buying a full sized.

Thanks for sharing, Molly. What's your skin type? (:

Yeah wow it looks pretty great! Thanks for posting that! Man... Now I really want it :P.

Here's 9 hours! Definitely shinier than before but still pretty amazing and it's not breaking down from my skin's oils either. I'm confident in recommending this and I'll be purchasing the full size (:

I really like the finish of this foundation and how long it lasted without looking completely wack!
And the Swamp Queen palette looks so pretty, unfortunately the website is always down and I can never get my hands on it.

What are the shades you see yourself wearing most in the future? (including the bigger pans)

Breeze, thank you! I was pretty worried about the foundation because it's hot and humid where I live so I figured it wouldn't hold up well, especially when my skin started to get oily, but I'm so pleasantly surprised! I hope you'll be able to get the palette, it's lovely!

Honestly I can see myself getting a lot of use out of every shade, except for the bronzer. I love purples and reds (Dogman hasn't been used yet but I'm itching to wear it) and of course everyone can use the neutral shades. I'm also a person who likes to work from one palette so when I use this palette I'll always use the highlighter and blush in it for convenience plus they are great products. I'm pretty disappointed in the bronzer shade, though. I have the Rainforest of the Dark palette and I love the bronzer in there but the bronzer in this palette is just so patchy

Your eyes and skin are looking gorgeous! Thanks for sharing, I am definitely adding that foundation to my shopping list now!

Thank you, Traci! (:

Thank you for all that info, sometimes I just don't know if the reviews I look up are truthful or not, and having a conversation here feels like we're asking our family for opinions, except the whole family is as obsessed with beauty as we are haha!

No problem, Breeze! I feel that way too, I always come here to ask everyone's opinions about a product rather than just read and watch reviews. Plus with his foundation in particular pretty much all the reviews were for dry skin types so they didn't help me much anyways, lol.
