I need ideas for wedding makeup, for me as a bridesmaid and my best friend who is the bride. We got a naked palette for her eyeshadow. I need ideas!

I say neutral makeup for bridesmaids with lip gloss and for the bride, darker crease and outer lid, but red matte lipstick for obvious reasons. have fun at the wedding!

Omg something important would be that the bride has such thin eyebrows that it looks like she doesn't have any. I don't know if we should give a shadow of an eyebrow or leave it natural bc that's how she always is. This is her.

Maybe use an eyebrow tint days before the wedding. Or a eyebrow mascara. If you do her makeup and not her eyebrows it's going to look bad ( my opinion).

I'm sure the bride would want a little something on her wedding day, I would trace out her brow lightly just to make them a little more noticeable. this is just my opinion, it's really her decision though.. but thought I would share :)

Yeah she wants to try a little something but she never has anything so I wasn't sure if it would look strange. But thanks girls I think we end up lightly filling them in :-)

Just to add on to that, you want to be careful about pictures. I personally wouldn't use *a lot* of shimmer eyeshadow because too much can disturb the photography (well, actually glitter will do that more than shimmer). Also some foundations with SPF will cause flashback, I'd avoid that. Another thing that causes flashback is using Silica based powder (such as MUFE HD powder) on dry skin that has not been moisturized properly. If the powder has no moisture to cling on it will show up in flash photography.

Here's an example... and obviously in real life it was not visible!

Wow you know your crap girl. Thank you so much! Lauren uses tarte foundation right now but she is probably going to check out mary Kay before the wedding. We both have normal to oily skin. If she uses Mary Kay she will also be using the primer which has spf I hope that's ok bc I use Mary Kay foundation and the primer works great with it and I use makeup forever white powder. She'll probably use the powder from Mary Kay

Ah I learned a lot of it from our former mod Jacqueline H! She knows everything as she's been in the industry for many years, :)
I've never tried Mary Kay. If you do use the makeup for ever, just go light! ;)

SPF in a primer is fine.
It's more of an issue when the SPF is Titanium Dioxide and when it's in the foundation itself. PLUS this usually only happens when you have direct flash like from a cell phone or a compact camera but if there is a professional photographer they're usually using bounced flash which wouldn't cause flashback.

As far as HD or Silica powder most people use WAY too much.
It's a FINISHING powder not a setting powder.

A finishing powder goes AFTER your setting powder and you only need a TINY amount for your whole face and it'll still help minimize pores, fine lines etc.and won't cause flashback.
I've come across a blog that tested the moisture and silica mixture (to prevent the flashback)
But once the setting spray evaporated, the flashback came back with direct flash.

Aurora I have to say that some of your info sounds a tad similar to what Jacqueline H (Jackie) has said many times here on BL, though helpful it's more organic when it comes from experience in the field. It's respected more and taken more as a learned lesson by just adding ( what I've learned)
I will add that flash back does not reappear when silica dries down. :)
