My hair is falling out. I eat a nice diet consisting of mainly fruits and greens. It started a year or two ago, my hair was extremely thick and healthy. Now it looks wry and damaged, but I get it cut regularly. I honestly don't know what to do about it anymore.

Its normal to lose some hair but if you think its an abnormal amount, you should see your doctor. sometimes it can be a sign of something else, or maybe just stress. better to be safe and check.

I agree with lara on seeing a doctor. If your diet doesn't consist of much else than that, it is likely that you might have a deficiency, which is something only a doctor can consult you on properly.

Definitely go see a doctor. You could have a deficiency in protein, iron or several other nutrients if you don't eat much else.

You need more protein.
Fruits and greens are good for you skin but keep in mind that your hair is made of like 93% protein so you're going to need to consume an adequate amount.
I'm actually pescatarian and eat lots of fish which is high in protein and low in fat but if you're vegan or vegetarian then eat more soy products since soy is one of the only plant based things that has complete protein.
