Eh.. I might be in the minority but I feel like they are a bit overrated. I have 4 of the Artis brushes and the Mac Oval 6 & Oval 4. They are nice quality brushes for sure but I didn't feel like they did anything groundbreaking that warranted the price.

I have an artis oval 6. I've not used it for long but I actually love it for applying foundation! It gives quite a natural finish. It's not brilliant for concealer though as it buffs it in quite a bit. I'm not sure I'd buy anymore brushes from them though.

I have 2 Artis brushes and when I use them, I feel like "they are unbelievable!" They feel so good on the skin and the application is really nice. The issue I have with them - and it keeps me from using them a lot - is that I find them difficult to clean. I have Artis brush cleaner and the cleansing mat, but they just don't seem clean to me. I find them difficult to wash with my Dr. Bronner's and my other brush cleaners, so I rarely use them. I will continue to look for way to clean them and when I find one I like, I will certainly use them more often.

I don't care for these type of brushes. Although they are super soft, to me they are basically "flat top" kabuki type brushes in different shapes rather than the typical round shape. Which is fine if you like flat tops. I don't like flat tops due to my dry skin and plus flat tops don't give me the finish I like. It's just a personal preference.
