what's your opinion on sinful colors and pure ice nail polish? i like them because they are cheep and i love their colors. only thing is last time i bought sinful colors and it was all gloppy and lumpy. what do you think?
I love sinful colors. I've never had a problem with them getting gloppy except for one that came to me like that, a dark green called "San Fransico." It was very thick and never dried. I don't know if it was that shade particularly or I had just got a bad batch. Other than that I haven't had any problems. I've tried pure ice too. I don't like them as much as sinful colors though. They have nice colors but they seem to be very thin so I would have to do like 5 coats to get anywhere close to the color I wanted. I barely have the patience to let 3 coats dry fully so they weren't for me lol

thank you ladies. i think i like sinful colors better. the color i got was a black with blue and purple shimmer. i was very dissapointed. caitlin maybe it's the darker colors? anyway i think i like sinful colors better.
both of the colors on my nails are sinful colors. I absolutely love them. pure ice is always very thin and I need like 5 layers to have a full coat. the blue takes two coats and the silver one coat.
I feel they are too cheep, I hate how they take 2-4 coats before they come out true to the bottle, they chip easily, and they are not good for you do to the extreme amounts of toxins in cheap nail polishes. I used to buy pure ice but then I switched over obsessive compulsive cosmetics nail polish that is under $10 and vegan! So it has less toxins, and no animal byproduct!

oh and another reason i like sinful is because i kinda think it's like a cheeper version of opi. it has the same style of bottle and everything.
Cassandra is right - OCC rocks!
Ultimately tho it shouldn't matter what you use if you have a good quality top coat. Seche Vite is great & so is Butter London.

i think i will try occ with either seche or butter london. thank you so much for the tips ladies! :)
They're both ok. They're great for adding colors to your collection :) Cheap, not the best quality wise, but if you want to add tons of polishes then they're good. I have a mix of more expensive ones and cheap ones, because it's reeeaallly easy to go the drugstore and accidentally spend $20 on cheap polish XD I think as far as those two exactly, I prefer SC a little more over PI. I feel like PI has come out w/ a wider range of colors, but takes more coats than SC.
Right now, I'm wearing OPI planks a lot and sinful colors frenzy with the sinful colts top coat, and the sinful colors is outlasting the OPI. I love sinful colors!

The colour payoff is terrible on them and they have no staying power.

I really like pure ice. I actually prefer the formula over more expensive options. I've never had a problem with color payoff.

One of my fav polishes out of my collection is a fuchsia by pure ice. I wore it for a week to the beach on my nails and toes and it lasted.

Sinful Colors are my favorite because they are only $2 and are really nice!! Pure Ice is also good, but a few of the colors go on lumpy and uneven.
