Have you ever been in the situation where your parents might have told you, "you can't wear makeup until you're...?"
At what age did you start wearing makeup? Was it your first eyeshadow palette? Maybe lipstick?
Did you feel older?

Yes my parent didn't like me wearing makeup but they just got used to it.
I started wearin just mascara and lipgloss at 16.
At 17 I would line only my waterline. At nearly 18 I started wearing top eyeliner and rarely eyeshadow.
I also tried foundation at that age for 2-3 months and then I realised I didn't need it or like it so I have never weared it again till now that I'm 26.
I'm glad I didn't wear lots of makeup at a young age because now I realise how beautiful and fresh does a young girl naturally look, but at that age I used to fight a lot with my parents to wear makeup.
But it is also true that wearing makeup at a young age makes you more happy then wearing makeup later on so I encourage my 15 year old sister to do whatever she likes with makeup. :)

My parents didn't really care. I started wearing makeup when I was 17 and have been obsessed since (I'm 21). My first makeup item was a maybelline foundation because I had pretty bad acne back then. I just felt more confident, and I remember wearing it for the very first time to school and a friend of mine was like "something about you looks different... in a good way", lol!

I think it just depends on how much makeup you will be wearing... I'm 12 (going on to 13) and I just wear concealer and mascara if I'm not going anywhere special... But when I do go out to do something special I use a light weight foundation (mines kinda like a bb cream) I use foundation because I get red all over my t zone. And then a little bit of eyeliner and some eyeshadow... I don't see how I wear makeup as too much... I always try and do a natural look like I'm not wearing makeup at all:)

I began experimenting with mascara, lipgloss, and blue (yikes!) eyeliner in middle school. Around 14, I started getting breakouts and began wearing concealer and powder and eventually foundation. I got into makeup around 16 and by college (18), I started wearing a full face more often. I'm 22 now and working full time, so I'm able to really get into makeup since I can afford to treat myself to new products just for fun. My parents never really cared if I wore makeup. I grew up as a competitive dancer, so I was used to wearing makeup and fake tanning at a young age. Even though I wore a full face for dance competitions, I didn't want to wear much outside of dance when I was younger :)

Since I was a dancer I started wearing makeup (stage makeup) at a very young age. But I really got into makeup at 14-15! I'd only wear concealer, mascara, and a lipgloss. As the years went on I progressively added more! Now I'm a makeup lover/addict!!

I am also a dancer and have had to wear a lot of stage makeup up. But I properly started wearing makeup at the age of 12/13. I love to do my makeup and now I am thinking of getting a job influenced by makeup. I find it very fun and it makes me feel more confident!

I began wearing makeup when I was 10 or 11. My parents didn't really care as long as it was natural. I wore powder, concealer, eyeshadow, mascara, and lip gloss. I wore this all the way up to 13. At age 13, I started wearing bb cream, blush, powder, concealer, mascara, eyeliner, and lip stick. Now I'm almost 15 and I wear a full face. I don't wear it to feel older, but I wear it to feel better about my appearance and I just love makeup and have since I started wearing it.

Mine didn't really care. however, I didn't wear much makeup until I was 18-19 anyways...all I wore, from 13-18 was mascara, winged liner in high school, and always Victoria secret lipgloss. Lol, it was never over the top. I didn't get into foundation, concealer, blush, eyebrows, etc.until I was out of high school already. my dad isn't too fond of makeup though and tells me every time I see him to take it off because I don't need it hah but that's typical dad I feel. :P

My parents were against it at first but as I got older (now 15) I started experimenting with mascara. I now wear mascara full time and occasionally put foundation and the full face but only for special occasions. I didn't necessarily feel older but I loved the way mascara made my eyes pop and still do.

I'm currently 14 and I started wearing makeup last year when I was 13. At first my mom would always say, "why are you wearing makeup?" So at first she wasn't too happy about it. But I continued to do it everyday and she just stopped asking.

16 but my mom was so against it my mom nor my sister are into to girly things so still to this day I am considered the the outcast they still say smart things like "omg do you need that much makeup, why do you wear that stuff" but they don't really say I can't or shouldn't especially sincr I by my own stuff now lol.

My mom probably told me I can't wear makeup till I get married. Lol I can't even comprehend. Anyway, I didn't wear a thing except mascara and lipgloss. I wore my first POWDER foundation at age 18, and at age 21 I started wearing eyeshadow, bronzer, lipstick and blush because my husband bought it for me lmao. So I guess in a way my mother won!! That stinker!! I wore my first liquid foundation at age 27. In a way I'm kind of glad I was never into makeup as a young girl, because If I was I would be a broke young girl.
