Hey ladies, so I am competing in my high school beauty pageant (9th grade-12th grade) and I have a few questions!!

I'm attaching a photo of my dress, I'm just afraid that it is too "much" for the HS pageant.. The only requirements are slits can't be past fingertips (it is not, on me) and it has to be floor length. So I think it's fine, considering all the age groups that will be in it..

Also, I will more than likely be doing my own hair and makeup. Hair in a top bun and I need ideas for makeup!!

any makeup ideas (or more specifically,
products that look great on stage or are great in general)

And lastly, any tips you have as far as the pageant!!

Are the side cut outs allowed? I know when I went to HS it wouldn't have been haha

Yeah I'd be concerned about the side cut outs too, wouldn't have been allowed at my school either. For makeup I would do a smokey eye and a nice deep red lip to match the deep red on the lower part of the dress. Also a good contour! :)
