What are some good foundations that you can mix & match for when you are doing a clients makeup.

If you want drugstore, I recommend the Revlon Colorstay foundation. I use the one for dry/normal skin and I find it to work great on many people. If you want one that is higher end, the Makeup Forever HD Foundation is great because depending on the desired coverage, you can build layers without it looking cakey. I hope this helps!

For drugstore I quite like the original L'orèal true match super Blendable liquid foundation.

They have three ranges. C, N and W

You don't have to get every shade but you can get a few from each range and then mix accordingly.
The bottle is clear but it's not a good indication of the shade, I personally use "W4 Natural Beige" and it looks quite a bit lighter and more beige just looking at the bottle but as it dries down it becomes darker/more golden and matches good. And for some reason W5 is lighter in color than W4

The "infallible pro matte" is good too but I believe the majority of shades are yellow toned so unless you want to be adding in correcting shades and warmth to match someone that's pink toned, I wouldn't really recommend it, takes up time.

If you're wanting a more higher end foundation, I quite like the MAC Studio Fix Fluid, I love how it photographs and you don't need much.

If you need a variety for clients, I would suggest getting the Cinema Secrets palette; you can mix and blend to get the perfect color match and it offers great coverage since it's a "professional" brand. Alternatively, I have used and like KVD and Too Faced Amazing Face. Right now I am using and loving the Smashbox Liquid Halo.

I have sensitive skin and I use juice beauty's foundation. I've found it doesn't oxidize as heavily as other foundations. My runner up would be Hourglass, but it is pricey.

Question are you all pro makeup artist?

I'm trying to understand the infallible pro-matte comment
(The "infallible pro matte" is good too but I believe the majority of shades are yellow toned so unless you want to be adding in correcting shades and warmth to match someone that's pink toned, I wouldn't really recommend it, takes up time. )
How did you come about that explanation Aurora? Please feel free to add more detail.

Hailey are you suggesting just Rcma VK palette's? If so how could you mix them to get the correct tone? Please feel free to also add more detail for the author.
