Here is what I use for my skin type. I have normal-combination skin and I don't struggle with acne or any skin problems. You may need different products for your skin type..

Foundation: Revlon Color Stay | full coverage on me and lasts all day
Concealer: Loreal Visible Lift (under eyes) | cooling sensation and brightens under the eyes. also very thin.
Maybelline Fit Me (blemishes) | normal consistency with good coverage
Bronzer: NYC Smooth Skin | gives me a nice warm glow and very affordable
Mascara: Maybelline Great Lash Lots Of Lashes | gives me that "butterfly" effect as I like to call it and makes my lashes long (not a lot of volume)
Face Powder: Maybelline Fit Me | natural finish and a little bit of coverage; foundation lasts all day with this
Brushes: real techniques for face and eco tools for eyes

I also recommend getting the real techniques complexion sponge with this foundation because it makes blending foundation a lot easier and more flawless.

Thank you Katelyn! I'll look into them! :)
I would say only slightly oily. I don't have any issues with dry or oily skin.
I get mild acne, but usually just around my time of the month, bit from make up

I have normal/combonation skin with the occasional pimple. I don't have sensitive skin. This is what I like:

Foundation-- Loreal True Match or Elf BB Cream
Concealer-- Maybelline Instant Age Rewind
Highlighter-- Revlon Shimmer Strips
Bronzer-- Elf Blush & Bronzer Duo (the bronzer is really pretty and the blush compliments it really well and since the blush has some sparkle in it you can put it right about the bronzer/contour on your cheeks and it works as a highlight)
Mascara-- Elf 3in1 mascara or Revlon Bold Lacquer
Face Powder-- Covergirl+Olay powder
Brushes-- Real Techniques brushes and get the makeup sponge too, because it makes your foundation and concealer flawless

I also recommend getting the Rimmel 5in1 Pro Primer, the Elf Hydrating primer, and the Maybelline Pore Eraser.

Foundation : L'Oreal true mat h Lumi cushion (love the finish, even on my oily zone! )
concealer: Maybeline fit me, great consistency and doesn't crease on my under eyes
bronzer : NYX, very pigmented but blend perfectly
Mascara: I use one from Yves Rocher (not at Wal-Mart) but I really want to try he Miss Manga one, a saw amazing review of it
Brushes : still trying to find good affordable brushes, I'm going to check what everyone else suggested!!

I have to second miss Katelyn on that Revlon Colorstay. While both the regular Colorstay and the whipped one are amazing, I prefer the whipped one. It feels a whole lot lighter on my face and gives me amazing coverage. It also lasts me aaaaalll day (:
