My Prom Look!

Hi guys! I know there's a lot of Prom threads going on, so I thought I'd share my look and maybe it will inspire some of you! Also I'm just excited to let you guys know what I did. :)

I started with my eye makeup first. I used my Viseart Neutral Matte palette and an angle brush to cut my crease. I started with the lightest colors and worked my way up to darker colors (they don't have names, I'm sorry!). I flicked my wrist up with the angle brush to slowly drag color upwards, then blended out the edges with a blending brush. I applied the Too Faced Glitter glue all over the lid, and then the Lit Cosmetics glitter in Champagne Wishes with a flat shader brush, making the edges where it meets the shadow crisp. Then I created a wing with the KVD Liner in Trooper and filled it in with the Inglot 77 Gel Liner and my trusty Billy B nine brush.

I primed with the Hourglass Mineral Veil Primer on my oily areas, and the MUFE Nourishing Primer on my dry spots, applying it with my fingers. I used the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in Chantilly on any blemishes, and powdered with the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder in Fair. Then I used an angled brush with the ABH Brow Pomade in Auburn, went over it with her Brow Powder Duo in Caramel, and then set with her clear brow gel. I bronzed with the CT Filmstar Bronze and Glow, and then contoured with the Kevyn Aucoin Sculpting Powder under my cheekbones, on my temples, and lightly down my nose. My blush is a mixture of MAC Well Dressed and Nars Madly, and I highlighted my cheeks, nose, and brow bone with the Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Powder.

Then I went in on the lower lash line with a MAC shadow (the name smudged off). I lined my water line with a generic nude liner, and applied the Sephora Outrageous Curl Mascara. After letting that dry, I used House of Lashes Boudoir Lashes. Lastly, I lined my lips with the Urban Decay lip pencil in Naked, and applied the Nars Audacious lipstick in Raquel on top.

I hope you guys like it, and please feel free to leave constructive criticism! I'm still relatively new to the cut (this is a banana crease?) crease look, but I think I'm getting the hang of it!

I like it a lot! I bought it on your recommendation :) It's definitely more of a finishing powder than a setting powder - it has such a beautiful smooth finish, and I like the slight pigment to help blur any harsh lines that may happen when I attempt to contour or apply blush to heavily. However, I'm too oily to use it as a setting powder unless my skin is going through a drier spell, as it is a product that will sometimes oxidize on my skin. I find myself using it a lot regardless...I think I'll miss it when it's gone enough to buy a new one, so it must be doing something right :)
