I am looking for a good primer that doesn't cost to much but am not having any luck, I was going to get the Elf mineral infused face primer but have read a lot of bad reviews. Does anyone know of a good one that I can buy in New Zealand or ship's here?

I've used the Rimmel fix and perfect primer for a while. It works really well if you are wanting your makeup to stay on longer, but I wouldn't really recommend it if you're wanted something to blur pores, etc. I also like the maybelline baby skin primer. It's great if you have dry/normal skin and I found that it really blurred fine lines and pores. I don't think it would be too good if you have oily skin though.
lots of my friends have used the Elf primers and have said good things about them. ☺️ I think lots of drugstore primers are kind of just trial and error.

Yeah primer is like foundation. It really depends on your skin type and what you're wanting the primer to do
So it's hard to recommend something without knowing those things

The BH cosmetics primer! Best I have used thus far - it just makes my skin look hydrated, makes my foundation look better and last longer. The NYX one is also very good when used alongside it's setting spray too. Just for comparison, I have tried primer by nude by nature, Loreal magique, DB.

Rimmel's works well.
I've tried ELF's primers (stay away from the illuminating one, it's just cheap glitter) but the purple one- I think it's tone balancing- works well and makes your skin super smooth and even :)

I actually really like the NYX primers (Angel Veil and Shine Killer). The L'Oreal Magic Lumi is my favourite for a dewy/glowing look but it's on the pricier side for drug store (Around $16 in Canada).
