So the last time I had acrylics was almost a year ago, but my nails are still really thin and weak. They break and chip like crazy! I've been using Sally Hansen Acrylic Gel Nail Strengthener, but they even break with that. I'm really at a loss as what to do...I'm a cashier at a hardware store, so polish doesn't last long. HELP!!
I started doing the vitamin E oil thing on my nails yesterday. I have vertical ridges on my nails and they chip and break at the tip. Very frustrating... Ugh. Couldn't tell you if V. E really works just yet. I'm also trying mineral oil at the same time. Rub on nails b4 bed. I might even try some olive oil... I thought about buying a nail strengthener but wanted to give natural treatments a go first.

Seche has a product called Rebuild in their Perfect Nail line. Pricey, but amazingly effective! I found it at Sally's.
