Proper age for anti-aging products?

I'm 21, and I was wondering when is the appropriate time to use anti aging products such as eye cream and face cream at night. I use skin screen during the day. I've been wearing makeup since I was about 15.

When I was doing Beauty Therapy, my "teacher" said at the age of 23 would be an appropriate age to start using anti ageing creams, it might be a bit too harsh for your skin if you use it too early in age.
