So my hair is medium length and I want it REALLY long and I don't want it to look fake. I don't have $600 to blow on extensions though so extensions that aren't that expensive would be helpful.
I've made my own clip in extensions before, it might take a bit of time and patience but you do save money for sure. You can buy wefts of hair (Sally's, ebay, a hair supply store) and snap clips separately which you can get from Sally's for about $2 for a pack of 3. When you have everything, you'll have to cut the wefts into different sized pieces and double weft them (sewing two pieces of wefts together to make them thicker) if your hair is on the thick side. For the clips, you'd have to sew them on to the wefts and voila, your own clip in extensions!
