Hi ladies so I've been hearing that I need to use transition shades and blend more with my eyeshadow. I'm working with the shadow box palette from UD and lorac pro palette for all my looks and I was wondering if you l beauties could explain to me where the transition shade goes and what colors from those palettes would work in relation to this look.

The lighting makes it a little hard to see the application.

But the transitions color goes in the creas and is blended up. I don't know the palette so I can't tell you whice color from that palette will work - but I will normally use a shadow that is a little darker then my skin, so for me that's a soft light brown or a dark beige, depending on how much color I wanna use. Then I will use a shadow that's a few shades darker then the transition color and put this in the crease, over the other one, and then apply the rest of the shadows in the style I wish to creavte.

Oh that helps so much Sabrina! Yes, unfortunately my house has awful lighting, but that will help me so much. I will be practicing and post something in the future with what I hope will be a proper transition shade (:

I'm glad I could help :) I find that standing infront of a window when taking pictures helps to show the makeup best - but it is hard to get a good picture of a makeup application - but try that, it makes it so much easier for people to give you advise :)

Yes, transition shades go in your crease and are blended upwards. I'm not familiar with the shadow box, but with the pro palette I use taupe as a transition color. With your coloring, I'd probably use sable, or a mix of taupe and sable.

If it helps, have a look at the color wheel. The shades inbetween the two you are using would help transition seemlessly. Think of it as a gradient, where the colors change to go from a blue to green.
