So my skin is combination and very sensitive. I have MAC face and body in c4 which is great but makes me look outlier. I got revlon color stay today but it has an orange tint! Urgh! recommendations for foundations that will cover large pores??

I don't have any suggestions for foundation, but I do suggest that you find a good primer to cover your large pores, that way your foundation doesn't seep into them.

Do you use a primer underneath?

I have poressional and maybelline but both aren't very good!!

I also recommend a good primer like Benefit Porefressional or a good drugstore I'm really liking is L'oreal Pore Vanisher. A good foundation is Make Up forever Mat Velvet or Estée Lauder Double Wear stay in place foundation for more coverage.

The porefessional is not very good though! I don't know what all the fuss is about it!

What works for some might not work for you. I've heard great things about smashbox primer.

It's all about test and trial.

I agree sometimes what works for other people doesn't work on others. I've heard good things about Benefit Porefessional and Smashbox. I personally use Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer.

I hate the Porefessional primer. It makes me even more oily. I've been dying to try the Hourglass Mineral Viel primer and the NARS All Day Luminous Wear. I've heard those are amazing for oily skin

Well it works great for me that's why I mentioned it... But like the girls said it doesn't always work for everybody. We all have different skin types. Just gave my opinion on a product I really like.

That was the first time I heard something bad about it.

But if you're looking for something more Mattifying I suggest Lorac Porefection Mattifying primer... And yeah for me the Hourglass primer didn't do anything even after all the good reviews. It's all about test and trial like Shanae said.

When it comes to pore type minimizer primers you only used those in certain areas that are needed and you pat it on in the area so that your pressing the product into the skin then you'll noticed it makes a little barrier almost like a speckled hole filler before you go over it with paint. You don't use them all over the face or spread around because you'll get a oily overload. With the rest of the face you get a primer that's better suited for your skin type which would be a matte or hydrating or combo also keep in mind you could go for just a good face base. Also they sell primer and base in one a universal combo just read product use and it will narrow down the options. :)

You could use a transparent one?

Lorac has a pore primer I received a sample of it from Ulta and I haven't tried it out yet but maybe you could give that a go?
