Hi! So I am coloring my long, fine but thick hair tomorrow and want to get some good products so its not a total waste of money rinsing down the drain! I am going for a slight ombré but nothing too drastic and will have to color my roots as well. Any suggestions?
No Sulfate Shampoos! Sulfate strips the hair. Organix Coconut Milk is my favorite. Hair maques to help the damage and also seal your hair follicles. Heat protectants. Organix also makes a great one. Reduce the amount of flat ironing or curling you do to your hair as well. Don't wash your hair more than 3 times a week, use dry shampoo in between.
Try wen. It's a cleansing conditioner so you don't use shampoo. It leaves your hair just as clean as shampoo though. It's 100% sulfate free, and that's why it doesn't lather. It will keep color treated hair looking great for months. It's a commitment, but its so worth it.
Sulfate free products are the best. Try Pro Naturals argan oil shampoo and conditioner, they're designed for processed hair and are very moisturizing. Color safe!
