So lately I've been having a love affair with higher end makeup. Usually that means neutrals, now I wasn't always that way. I used to get the brightest colours I could and would crudely draw all over my face. I've felt like my love of makeup went away when I stuck to browns :( But the other day I grabbed my brights and asked my fiancee to pick out some colours, and he pointed to pink. Instant cold sweats, I can't pull off pink never been able to. But somehow I think I made it work and I couldn't be happier. I'm still learning to work with colour again and make it suit me.

Here's the lowdown:
I used my usual mix of foundations, one by rimmel and one by maybelline patted on with my real techniques sponge. Then I highlighted with my collection 2000 concealer (this stuff is amazing and so cheap it's like mac pro longwear) and contoured with a cheap concealer/contour pallette I got off amazon. I set it with a loose powder and filled in my brows like always with my w7 brow bar in shade 2.

I started with a crease colour in nudie (too faced)
layered up some cashmere bunny (too faced)
and put silk teddy in my inner corners and on my brow bone.
I then used a completely unbranded pallete so I winged it. I used medium pink tones, creamy pink tones and purple and dark purple. (Sorry I can't explain it properly)

I used a rimmel eyeliner in black and a purple greasepaint by mehron in my waterline and on my lid. I then layered some falsies and applied my faveeee mascara by natural collection.

I applied some blush (lifes a peach by sleek)
and deepened my highlight with silk teddy.

Sorry for the long post, would you rock this on a day to day basis? or are you a neutrals kinda gal?

I think it looks great! You definitely pull it off. And your cheek bones are amazing.

I always love bright and colorful shadows, I used to wear them all the time, but now that I don't go anywhere everyday (school) I don't experiment as much, so I usually stick to semi neutral colors. Maybe a pop of purple or pink here and there in my daily routine, but I still hoard brights lol. I usually go for bright colored eyeliner rather than eyeshadow. But most of the time I do my makeup quickly so liners are easier.
