Don't be in the sun between 12-3pm thats when the sun is worse. But there's not much to do, some burn easily! I'm very fair, blond hair so I burn so much, I keep out of the sun I stay in the shade and wear spf 50.

The only way to prevent a sunburn is to stay in the shade and wear sunscreen.

Chances are you are a skin type one. What this means is that you don't have as much melanin in your skin as some people, and your receptors are much more sensitive to UVA and UVB rays. Skin type ones are the most susceptible to skin cancers in all forms, so do protect yourself from the sun to prevent melanoma BUT also be aware of what you are applying on your skin - melanoma isn't the only form of skin cancer. Stay away from sun screens, and instead opt for SUNBLOCKS, sunscreens react with UV lights and the chemicals they leave behind are what is absorbed into your skin and they are toxic. When it is reasonable to do so, cover up clothing wise as well. Clothing with a UPF rating of 30 or higher will be best to protect you from the sun, as well as broad spectrum sunglasses and large hats to protect your face. I always recommend skin type ones to get annual skin cheap ups as well. Apart from that, do try and avoid over exposed. From 10am-3pm the sun is directly hitting the earth, before and after that is just grazes over you therefore they are the best times to be out doors unprotected.

I burn very easy too, the only way to prevent it is to wear suncscreen, stay in the shade, or wear long sleeve shirts or clothes that cover your body. Also, after you get burned put some aloe Vera gel on.

Vera gel to help sooth. I don't burn I bronze, like it doesn't turn red it just turns golden , I always wear spf 30 when at swim, always waterproof. I take good care of my skin so I do as much as I can to stop it from being burnt. So I tan pretty nicely during summer, just enough to make people notice then I'm done tanning.
