I have tons of redness and very visible breakouts since I'm pale, and its suuper hard for me to find ones that actually cover the redness (usually you can still see through the foundation) but revlon colorstay is the first foundation I've found that does it super well, I even use it as my concealer! The color doesn't change/fade/etc, it doesn't get orange like most do on me, and I've slept with it on (oops lol) and it literally looked perfect in the morning! Like it was weird haha, the one thing I'd say though is make sure your face is moisturized well because I find that sometimes it clings to my dry patches if I don't moisturize enough, other than that its perfect!

It depends on your skin type.

oily/combo skin:
- revlon colorstay. its thick, but has phenomenal coverage and lasts ALL day. if you have dry skin, this formula tends to cling to your dry patches so maybe pass if you have dry skin. it can be found at a lot of drugstores for the low price of $12

dry skin:
- loreal true match lumi. this is great for dry skin. it gives you a nice dewy finish and it medium build able coverage. I found mine for about $10

I believe that what makes the white cast appear in pictures is mica (so look out for that ingredient in foundations etc) or just having a shade lighter than your color. I heard that some good green primers (if you're interested in them) to counteract redness is the smash box photo finish color correcting primer or even the NYX studio perfect photo loving primer is supposedly a dupe for that. If you think you really need medium/full coverage, I agree with Gabby and Katelyn about Revlon Colorstay. I feel like this is more for oily skin and so are these but I heard they are pretty great in terms of coverage: Estée Lauder's DW, NARS ADLW, MUFE Matt Velvet +, Covergirl's 3 in 1, Maybelline's Superstay foundation, No7's beautifully matte foundation, it cosmetics CC cream, Maybelline's BB cream, and Garnier's BB cream (all these foundations are matte btw besides the BB/CC creams mentioned). If you're going to use any BB/CC cream you should go in with some color correcting concealer/your skin tone concealer and pinpoint your acne scars, pimples etc. and then put on the BB/CC cream because they usually have lighter coverage, I think this method is actually better because it doesn't feel like you're masking your whole face with those heavy duty foundations, yknow?
