I have really hairy arms and get made fun of a lot because of it.. I used to shave them but when it got to the stubbly stage my friends would always call me a cactus.. IM STUCK HELP!!

Wax them, not going to lie it's painful, but you don't have a stubble stage. I used to get made fun of (I'm over it now) Only do it if you are comfortable though, I went through what you did and I care a lot less than I used to.

When you shave, you are cutting the hair off at its coursest part, so it will technically be thicker because it does not taper like regular hair. Also, because your arms have been exposed to sunlight for a while, the hair there is lighter and therefore the shaved hair will grow back darker until it also naturally lightens. Instead you should look into getting your arms waxed, you don't have to do it often at all and since you are ripping out the hair at the bulb you are traumatizing the follicle which allows the hair to grow back thinner and slower.

I just heard of a technique like waxing but it's called sugaring.. You can make it at home yourself. There's tutorials on YouTube.. Apparently you put it on in the direction of your hair growth and after awhile of doing it it thins out your hair instead of making it grow thicker.

I think waxing is better and it's painful but it is only for 2 sec so I think you can bear it.
