Wear a jumpsuit! This is really comfortable in a plane, I went to the UK last month and I wore one too and it was super comfortable! I'd wear either a braid or a bun, whatever you prefer. And for makeup, something natural that you can fix up (you can't bring liquids up to a certain amount of ml in your hand baggage so I wouldn't bring foundation or anything like that). Concealer, powder, lipgloss, highlight the inner corner of your eye. I wouldn't wear too much since you'll probably be sleeping and you'll only smudge it out.

I did a lot of flying last year and I learned that just wearing a pair of comfortable jeans and a t shirt is the best. Make sure to bring a light jacket because planes get really cold.
