So, the Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage. Has anyone tried it? I'm looking to get a new concealer for blemishes and have heard good things about it.

Has anyone tried it? What do you think?

I absolutely LOVE that stuff, it's always in my makeup bag and I've recently hit pan! You can do some great pinpoint concealing with it and it stays put because it's very dry. Once you learn to work with it, you'll love it too. Definitely a holy grail product for me.

Thanks Breeze. I've heard it can be a bit difficult to work with. What have you found the best way to go about it is?

I use with a tiny detail brush, and I swirl it around so it warms up a bit, and don't use it for dark circles because usually the eyes need more moisture, while blemishes just call for this product!

I wouldn't dream of using it under my eyes, I've heard how dry it is!

I think I might take the plunge and get it. What shade do you use at the moment? I'll probably go in store and get matched anyway but it would be nice to have an idea of what shades are for what skintone.

I used to work at a LM counter and I find that her two secret camouflage brushes work amazingly with it. I agree with Breeze. You do have to warm it up a bit to get it to blend nicely. Here are the two brushes. Sorry, they're a bit dirty
The small one is the Secret Camouflage and the other is the Camouflage Powder
I'd be happy to answer any questions you have :)

Thanks Michelle! How do you warm it up? Do you just take product on the brush and mix on the back of your hand or do you have another technique?

The palette had two shades. One is creamier and is easy to work with as is. The more yellow shade is the tricky one. You can use the back of your hand, but I always swirl my brush around in it to "soften" it up a bit. I do use the back of my hand when I want to mix the two colors together.

The best way to cover up your dark circles usinh the orange shade from the secret camouflage is just usinh your middle finger n dab it under your eye area n blend

I caved and bought it! I've tried it briefly on some spots and scarring. It'll take a bit of getting used to but I'm really liking it so far.

I'll have to give it a proper test tomorrow!
