I recently got my hair ombred/balayage highlights. It is naturally dark brown almost black so some of the highlighted areas are becoming a golden/orange brassy color, however, some are still a nice cooler blonde shade. What is a good way to tone my hair to get some of the orange/gold tones out. I have heard of wella toners, but not sure what would work best or what developer to use. Thank you so much!

You can use a purple shampoo and that should do the trick.

Let the shampoo sit , and sometimes I do it in dry hair for a more intense result.
