I impulse bought this last week, in the shade moonstone (the only shade they had) and I used it for the first time this afternoon, but I really wasn't impressed. I have dry skin and all the reviews and the ladies at sephora were raving aboyt it. I originally wanted the josie maran one, but it was sold out and waaaay to dark for my skin. But I applied it alone over my foundation and a bit mixed into my bb cream. It just made me look like a sprinkled body shimmer on my face. I liked it as a highlight, but it wasn't better than my normal high light. Does anybody have any tips on this?

I would try to return it.

I probably will. But I want to try to love it first. Almost all the reviews from people with dry skin loved it, and most said they don't go a day without it because it makes their skin look dewy and glowy. I want that lol.

Maybe you got the wrong shade for your skin tone? I have opal & I LOVE it, I only use it as a highlight though.

I have opal. I mix a pea sized amount with my foundation. I'm oily, but the amount of comments I've gotten about how "hydrated" and "glowing" I have looked lately is crazy. It really makes the different in my routine.

That's kinda what I thought, but the sephoras around me only carry moonstone. The rest I'd have to order online, and I just did a massive order a couple weeks ago, so ordering it alone would cost double. Plus I'd want to see it in person so I don't have the same thing happen.
How do you girls apply it? What brushes do you use? I'm almost determined to make This work since I have no reason to go even near sephora other than to return it and I know I'll end up impulse buying something else lol.
And what's the difference between shades? When I Googled it they were all on tan to dark skin and it wasn't easy to see the true tones. I'm neutral toned though, so most things work on me
