So I used to always just wear eyeliner and mascara and that's it...recently I've been venturing into the foundation, BB cream etc.etc.world of makeup. So I was wondering...when you wear makeup on your face do you wear just a foundation or just a BB cream? Or do you wear both? I know someone that does wear both and it doesn't look bad on her but I'm just wondering what's the right way to wear it on your skin?? 😀 thanks ladies!

There's no right way, it all depends on your skin. Some use bb cream as a primer. Some wear bb cream alone, some set it with powder. Some wear foundation some, or with powder. Whatever looks or works best is what they do. I personally wear bb cream and powder. Or moisturizer and powder.

You could do any of those options, I'm personally not a fan of foundation, as odd as that sounds. I always feel so heavy and cakey when I wear it. So I personally just go for bb cream and concealer. My favorites are Garnier, and the Maybelline (both the original and acne fighting ones are good) the Garnier one is my absolute favorite one, my only issue is I'm too pale for the light/medium shade (they only have two shades) Durring the winter :\ then after concealer, I put on a powder (I love ELF's HD powders, preferably the corrective yellow, and I absolutely love Bare Minerals Mineral Veil, it's a holy grail product) then add blush and bronzer and you're set!

Think it just depends on what you like on yourself 😊 I tend to mix a BB cream with another liquid foundation so it's more sheer, and then I set it with a powder foundation ðŸ˜Š

I personally think it depends a lot on which BB cream and foundation you're using, the coverage of it, etc. For example, the Garnier BB cream has a lot of coverage, so I just end up using that as a foundation. However, there are some that are that of a more tinted moisturiser consistency (in which case I would put a foundation over top of it, along with setting it with a powder so it stays on all day; if you have oily skin, bb creams tend to wear off if you don't wear a powder as well). It all really depends on the products, but as a rule of thumb, I would suggest to not wear a foundation over top of another product that already gives you good coverage :) Hope this helped!
