This upcoming week is my spring break and me and my sister are going to get a second ear piercing together. We were thinking of getting it done at Claire's. Is that a good place to go?

I got mine done at Clair's too and it has always been fine however the cleaning solution they have me was a year out of date so just check that before you leave!

As long as they don't use a piercing gun. they aren't sterile and can cause damage to the skin tissue.

Please don't do it at Claire's.. They use guns and it damage the cartilage + it's not sterile as Kyra said. Go to a local piercing shop, the price is almost the same anyway

Don't do it at Claire's, it is not a good place.
I got my second lobe pierced with a gun at Claire's (they told me they had to use a gun) and it got infected.
I don't recommend getting it pierced at Claire's.

I got my second lobe done at claire's and it healed great. I had no problems even though I had it done with a gun. Go for it :)

Claire's is pretty good. I went there and didn't have any issues. I got my ears pierced there in kindergarten, but being that age, I didn't take care of them so they got infected. It had nothing to do with the piercing gun for me. I don't know of any places that don't use piercing guns though. I think they're easier and are less scary.

They used a gun on me and mine never got infected I thought they were really good there however mine aren't completely symmetrical if I'm being very picky :)

I know I shouldn't say this but I also just pierced my own ears! I've done them about ten times but I probably shouldn't recommend that I'm sure it's not safe haha.

I got my first and second lobes at claires and both had a very hard time healing and got infected. Yes,I took good care of them. after my second hole closed,I got it redone at a local High Priestess and actually got told by the piercer it was an extremely quick heal. from personal experience,I'd say getting pierced with a gun is a risk.

Oh,and High Priestess used separate single needles for each ear.
