Help! My nose is so uneven and it's rough. There's like little bumps on my nose. I tried using the Biore Strips but nothing came off and those bumps are still there(hmm I don't think it's black pores?). I really don't know what is it and is it even possible to get rid of them? I really envy those who have smooth nose 😭

Can you take a picture of what you're referring to?

You'll get better recommendations and results if we can properly diagnose exactly what is on your nose. If by black pores you mean black heads the best way to remove them is go to a licensed esthetician and have then extract them for you. I'm an esthetician and I've seen so many people do it wrong and it'll just make everything worse.

Sorry I just noticed you said you don't think they're blackheads, so yeah a picture would be great and then hopefully I can help you. Either way, if this is something you're dealing with quite often I'd definitely suggest seeing an esthetician for a skincare consultation and facial suited for your skins needs. By seeing the problem I can help but it won't compare to another licensed esthetician not only seeing it in person and feeling your skin and with that and a in depth consultation with you on your skin concerns they can also suggest a skincare routine for home use

Use a mud mask.. something like Dead Sea Mud or GlamGlow.

Please do not EVER use baking soda on your face. Baking soda exfoliation is common in DIYS I’ve seen it in a ton of places and every time, it makes me cringe a little. Baking soda isn’t just ineffective, it’s actually damaging to your skin. Baking Soda + Water is alkIine. Bronsted-Lowry theory says that acids are proton donators that are able to give a proton (the hydrogen cation or H+), and bases are proton acceptors that are able to receive a proton (H+). Bases neutralize acids by bonding with the acid’s hydrogen ion. Baking soda’s chemical name is sodium bicarbonate, and bicarbonate is an amphiprotic ion, so it can both take and lose a hydrogen ion. So, this means that baking soda reacts with acids and bases by either donating or accepting a hydrogen ion. But bicarbonate is a stronger base than it is an acid, so it’s more likely to accept a hydrogen. What this means is that when you dissolve sodium bicarbonate in water, the solution tends to be more alkaline. The pH of the products you use is super important for maintaining healthy skin. Here’s how the pH scale works: It runs from 0-14 with 7 meaning neutral. Anything above 7 is considered alkaline, or a base, and anything below 7 is considered an acid. The skin naturally falls somewhere around 4.5 to 6.5, and is maintained by sebaceous glands, sweat glands, and normal skin flora, among others. This skin acidity is called the “acid mantle” An alkaline cleanser disrupts the skin’s acid mantle (affecting the skin barrier), and changes the bacterial flora composition on the skin and the activity of the enzymes in the upper layers of skin, as these have an optimal pH level. And the damage is cumulative: The longer you use it, the more damage it does to your skin.Because of this, you want mildly acidic products, which help the skin hold moisture and also improve the skin barrier. But it’s important that they’re mildly acidic, as you can, in fact, go too low. If you go too low with products, you risk skin irritation, sun sensitivity, and hyperpigmentation. I do recommend exfoliating though, it looks like your pores around your nose are inflames.

Inflamed*

Niesha I literally just typed out the entire science to it, feel free to do some research. You should not use baking soda on Your face, or bath bombs for that matter..

You can use it if you would like but the science is there, and that is your personal choice to use irritation, sensitivity, tears in your acid mental and premature aging. I simply was warning Nadhrah off of it because I do not support spreading dangerous information

All opinions are welcomed and it's truly up to the author of the thread to take it or not. Please be respectful all around, this is not a battle of who's right. :)
