I am getting my hair and nails done next weekend.

Hair: I've had the same old plain hair since I was in 6th-7th grade. I am going into 9th and I would like to switch it up a bit. The lighting does make my hair look a little brassy or orangey, but it's actually just blonde. I am not going to color my hair because I am okay with the color and my parents don't want me to color it. Although, I do want to switch it up and maybe change up the hair that lays in the front of my face. I won't take length off because I like having longer hair. I was thinking about getting some layers and a v-cut. I asked this question a couple months ago, but thought I'd ask again for some more feedback and reassurance. What kinds of layers should I get if I decide to get them? (long, short, medium, face, etc.) If you have pictures, that would be really helpful as well. Also, how should I cut my bangs? I feel like they don't look good on me. They actually don't even really exist because they're the length of my hair now lol. Tell me if they look good or if I should do something different...

Nails: I have never gotten my nails done before. What kinds of designs should I ask for? Anything that would suit my nails? I honestly don't know much about nails so I am open to ANYTHING.

Another picture because the one above, my "bangs" are kind of pulled to the back.

Short choppy layers with a v-cut would look so good on you!
Are you going to get acrylics or just polish?

Just polish probably because I heard that acrylics can damage your nails. And thank you! (: I'll definitely keep that in mind!

Also, how long would the polish last? Acrylics?

V-CUT ALL THE WAY! I am also going yo be a freshman in the fall, and since I've had the same hair since 5th grade I decided to go big in the beginning of June (this is the before)

Thanks Raneen (: I love your hair!! I definitely want a v-cut now! I am debating between long neater layers like this.

This is the after (excuse the face, it's a still from a video) also I'm not sure it any of this was helpful but I just wanted to share the whole "transformation before high school thing" I went really big on the change but you don't have to.

I love your hair!! Before, it was really long and youthful, but now you look more mature and it still looks gorgeous!

I think you could rock both looks, but with your current length I think a V-cut would be best, if your hair does get a lot longer in the future (like to the bottom of your spine) I think you should do the layers.

Sorry if I wasn't clear, I think you should do the neat layers.

Oh and for your nails Taylor K. did a look recently with Zoya nail polishes and it's really summery so maybe you could try that.

Haha thanks Raneen (: You were clear enough! Yeah, I think that's what I might do unless people say otherwise. I like both looks a lot honestly! My hair is wavier usually which is why I started questioning neater layers..

And okay! Thanks for the nail suggestion (: I love them!

No problem! Sorry for spamming your post. If you do have naturally wavy hair though, the neat layers will only look their best if they are straightened, so if you aren't going to do much straightening or general upkeep (I sure don't) the messy layers might be a better option,

That's what I was thinking! And no, you're fine (: I usually don't like to use much heat on my hair and actually, I typically French braid my hair to make it wavier!
