I've been using liquid foundation (L'Oreal True Match) and it's just simply too heavy for me in the summer. I work in kind of a humid, warm environment (nursing home kitchen! Absolute nightmare in the summer) and liquid foundation is breaking me out. So I bought bareMinerals Matte foundation yesterday.
What are your thoughts on it? Can it really be full coverage? I have a lot of redness in my face that I'm hoping this stuff can cover.
What type of brush do you like to use? I have flat-top Kabukis and fluffy powder brushes. Which would give better coverage?
I have really high expectations for this product because I've always heard nothing but good things, hopefully it doesn't let me down!

I have the bare minerals matte also. I don't have very much acne just redness and it covers it just fine. The trick is that you have to take the time to buff it into your skin so it can melt into the skin avoiding a cakey look by adding too much product. I use a round buffing brush personally

I like bare minerals but I do think it's tricky and time consuming to apply. I recommend using one of their primers first. The flat top kabuki is great. Really "warm up" the foundation in it's lid in circular motions before applying it several thin layers on your face. I will pass over my face in overlapping section four times. Then I go in with their concealer brush, using the same foundation to cover up spots where I have discoloration. Hope this helps!

I have it and it covers redness pretty well, but make sure you really blend it out because whenever I used it, it wouldn't blend that easily. But all in all its good :)
