Hair Color Fading.

I have been dying my hair jet black for yeaaaars unfortunately it is ALWAYS fading within a few weeks. Does anyone have any suggestions on any good hair dyes that do not fade so fast or anything to keep it from fading. Thanks dolls. XO.

I used to use a black shade of L'Oreal Feria (can't remember which shade now) but I didn't really have a problem with it fading that quickly. Are you using the right shampoos, conditioners, etc?

I've never had a fading problem with Garnier Nutrisse dye. Use cool water when washing your hair, don't wash too often and avoid any harsh chemicals in any hair products.

I'll have to try the Garnier then, I wash my hair every other day, always use hair color protector shampoo. I will defiantly try the other dye. Thanks dolls. XO

For me when I used to go black, I loved Clairol Nice n Easy dye. I never found that it faded overly quickly. And unlike other brands of black dyes this would slowly fade to a dark chestnutty brown, where as other blacks I've tried would turn a muddy green grey colour. I haven't used a black dye from garnier, but I do LOVE their reds, so black would be worth a shot in my opinion from them.
