I wouldn't do anything special if you're going to the mall, you're there to try on new clothes.. Not to wear new clothes. Wear something casual and comfortable for trying on different outfits. For makeup just wear mascara and foundation

High waisted jeans or shorts with a crop top and kimono, gladiator sandals and for makeup just foundation, blush, nude eyeshadows and then wear a lipstick or bring it with you to put on after the mall.

You're going to the mall which means that you'll be putting on clothing. I suggest that you just wear something simple which isn't too complicated to put on and to take off. So maybe just a cute top and jeans. For hair, just wear it in a bun, it'll get really frizzy and messy because you're constantly pulling shirts over your hair. For makeup, I think just a little bit of concealer and powder with mascara and lipgloss. Not too much because it might stick on the clothes you're trying on. (happened to me, that was so awkward...)
