So I decided today that I wanted to try something different with make up. This is the first time that I've ever tried to do something like this. Does it look okay? What can I improve on?
Thanks!

Are you wanting opinions on the shadow and liner?

I like the liner, just maybe thicken it a little from the inner part of your eye (I don't know what you call it) ☺️

I think the inner part of the liner needs to be evened out a tad bit and maybe try to extend the wing upwards. A darker matte color in the crease would add a bit more definition to the look. Your eye color is gorgeous!!

They shadow isn't very pigmented, I suggest using a more pigmented shadow, you could try putting a primer, concealer or a white liner pencil or something underneath the shadow to make it look better. The liner is a tad messy, here's a step by step tutorial on one way to do it. It can be difficult to do, don't get upset about it and practice makes prefect!

You can use a qtip to clean up the liner, they also make makeup remover pens which are easy to use.

I think you should improve on the winged liner.
it looks very uneven and just looked messy to be completely honest.. but just remember to go in with a light steady hand.
use short thin strokes, you want your winged liner to look smooth, even and just.. Flawless! Lol
for the shadow, I didn't notice there was any shadows it might just of been what your using. I would maybe buy a more pigmented palette/shadows?

Actually, your liner looks quite good for a first timer, just practice practice practice girl! I don't think it looks messy! I would just even the line out so it all flows smoothly into eachother and since your lashes are very curly you should look into tightlining as your upper water liner is exposed. I also agree with getting more pigmented shadows though, what did you use,

Winged liner never comes out perfect the first time I would think just keep practicing.. and try to be even starting from the inner corner all the way to the outer corner, keep a steady hand, short thin strokes, and like I said just keep practicing :)

I don't think it looks messy at all - I think it's bloody good for a first time! Maybe a darker crease colour blended out just to give the eye a little more definition. Keep practising girl!

I don't think the liner is too bad for a first timer because winged liner is actually really hard until you get the hang of it but I just feel the shadow is too shiny, like there is shine every and there's no depth to it... If you like it shiny then roll with it but these are just my personal opinions... I would suggest going with that pink shade on the lid because that's a gorgeous shade and maybe a darker matte brown in the crease and outer corner or actually if you prefer shiny then go for a more matte eyeliner like the maybelline gel eyeliner because the eyeshadow is shiny and then the liner is shiny since it's got that wet look so you could change the eyeliner and that would also really define your lashes if the eyeliner is matte because your mascara is likely to have that slightly glowy look...

I love how she is taking the criticism that isn't hurtful or ugly and is saying thanks. Love this girl! But the liner is a little shaky, try setting your elbow on a table to steady your hand and hold a mirror lower than your normal line of sight to get closer to the lash line. Like some of the other girls said the shadow looks a little washed out so maybe a primer like too faced or urban decay or even wet n wild will make the color more even and blendable. Try to use only matte colors in the crease to darken it up a bit but keep your eye natural and fresh. (: good luck!

Great job for a first timer. It's so much better if you do smaller stokes. Short small strokes can really help you for a smooth line. This is everything is all about color try adding color with it at the end of the wing or on top! It will add a lot of flare! Keep practicing and you will be a pro soon!

That looks way better than my first winged liner! If you're us using a liquid liner or felt tip pen I would suggest a gel and an angled brush it made winged eyeliner so much easier for me, in 2 strokes I have the perfect angle and it's easier to get a smooth line. You obviously have the talent I would just experiment with different mediums until you find your favorite
