Hi y'all, now that I've finally gotten my hair back to it's natural state, it is SUPER curly. But, not everywhere. Does anyone have any good recommendations for curling mousses or scrunch products? I'm totally clueless, I NEVER use products in my hair and I'd love something to give my curls some more definition. Thanks so, so much y'all, hope you're having a wonderful day.

I love the Shea Moisture products! Lol I swear by them. They have a no poo shampoo, curly hair "smoothies". Not to mention all of their other products. The lotions are great. And they all smell yummy!

I'm honestly very happy with the shower products I use, I'm mostly looking for a mousse or something to keep curls while it's dry so I'll absolutely check out the curl smoothies :)

I have to agree with Shea Moisture.. I cannot find myself using any other products.

I apply the 'Curl Enhancing smoothie' to my hair when it is wet and allow it to dry or curls my hair using my fingers for coils ( I find this the best way for my curls, personally. They shape when they are wet ). I section my hair in 4's and apply a bit less than a quarter size amount.
It's one of the very few creams/smoothies that shape my curls and define them. It also helps loads with frizz.

I love their conditioners/shampoos, especially the Manuka Honey line ( I love the smell of that particular line. ) I'd check out Sallys' target, and walmart as sometimes you find different lines at different stores. I've had much better luck at Sally's in terms of variety.

They have many different lines... from lines based off of manuka honey, to platano and yuca and shea butter.

Another favorite curly hair product of mine is the One n Only Argan Oil curl cream which does a great job at hydrating curls and defining them.

For shine and added softness I use thick & full biotin & collagen oil treatment by Organix which has vitamin b7 biotin, collagen, and protein.

Those are my top products ☺

Kitty you're awesome thanks so much. Seriously my hair is like ringlets now and I'm so unused to it so thank you for all of the suggestions.

You're welcome!
I'd check out MoeKnowsHair on YouTube, she is absolutely wonderful when it comes with natural hair and has some very informative videos. She is always trying out different lines so you'll see more options?

Ooh, I'll definitely do that. I'm already sulfate/sodium chloride free and I'm working through my products to be silicone free as well, so we'll see how this goes :)

I agree with shea moisture curl enhancing smoothie, I finally got it. But I will always prefer lush are&b you literally use a little drop and your curls are perfect... I find it works better in my straighter areas (hair around my face) Since you can get a sample, I strongly recommend you try it even if you end up using other products. My tester lasted like a month!!

Unfortunately my hair is too short for french braiding (at least, for me to do it) but I'll keep that in mind. Thanks!

I don't know much about curling products but a friend of mine with really curly hair likes the redken line for curls. Just to give you a heads up if you don't already know ulta is doing a big sale on hair styling products for buy 2 get 1 free, and 16% back on ulta purchases through ebates. The curl enhancing smoothie is included in that sale too.

Lushettyxo (not the right spelling I don't think) has some really good videos for curly hair on youtube.

Lush's R&B is great for curly hair! Definitely check it out. It's basically like a leave in conditioner but it gives hair just a little bit of texture and the smell is unbelievably good!
