I think gel nails are the best and do the least damage if you get them removed proffessionally x

I usually do gel :) however, if you like to change the polish color yourself regularly do not let them put gel polish on them... As long as you use Non-Acetone polish remover you can change your colors as often as you'd like without damaging the false gel nail.

I think she's referring to liquid gel extensions not gel polish. I used to use acrylics religiously, then I switched to the liquid gels and never went back. Acrylics would stain, broke easier, & grew out looking horible on me. Also my gels caused less damage to my nails which is hardly any at all
