My sister dyed her hair red once on dark brown hair and it only showed in the sun so I think that's how it will be for your hair if you don't bleach it.

You could try the brand RAW. When I had medium-dark brown hair, the dark blue made my hair almost black.

ION hair dye, which you can get at Sallys beauty supply, is very cheap but you don't need bleach at all. my natural color is chocolate brown and I did dark purple n bright red from that company n used no bleach.

In your other thread Shanae had perfect advice.

Any color you add, as long as it's veggie dye, manic panic, directions etc.will give a tint on black hair that shows mostly in the sun. Blue/green or purple will be most prominent, since black often is made out of darkening those pigments. So if you used the eye drop tool in photoshop, you'd find it most likely on the end of the blue or purple scale.

But Google whatever shade of manic panic color or whatever brand, like for example "manic panic ultra violet on dark hair" and or "on unbleached hair" and you'll get results of what it'll look like. Manic panic has some pictures on the site too.

Here's a website I think will help out too.

Hit send to soon woops.
That picture is manic panics website in their faq it's got what colors they recommend for unbleached hair.

This website is a gallery of unbleached hair with veggie dye on top. Red is most common, but there is blue, purple and green too. You can also look on the gallery to see what dye is most pigmented out of the color you choose, like for blue, manic panics rockabilly blue is the most pigmented, you can tell by all the pictures side by side to another blue dye.
