I agree that the Dr. Lin Dark Spot Corrector works well. It's really cheap too. I've had the best luck with it (5% benzoyl peroxide) and Retin A. Actually Vit C serum has never done much for me for some reason. I've tried many brands and none work, but it seems to for others

Vitamin e aqau sorbet from the body shop. Vitamin e is a very powerful anti oxidant and heals wounds quickly. This sorbet is very strong and you can actually feel it working.

SPF 30 or above, preferably a mineral sunscreen (Physical).
I wouldnt bother spending money on serums or oils unless you use SPF first.
Using serums, oils and other products to lighten your scars without sun protection can make them get darker and ruin your progress. Acne marks are easily affected by the sun so make SPF your priority otherwise your wasting money :/
