Does anyone have any suggestions for extremelyy acne prone/combo skin? I feel like I've tried everything :'( it's depressing because I feel like people say they have acne prone skin but they can still use products that would make me break out in a day :( I know for sure I can't use products with any coconut derivatives like capric/caprylic triglycerides (sp?) which eliminates a lot of the more natural brands like Tarte. Also BB/CC creams don't work for me because my skin doesn't like all the silicone. I also can't use products with bismuth oxychloride or certain oils so I'm looking for something oil free. I tried cover fx cream foundation for the second time recently and I broke out just like before (stupid me). Also my skin itches from titanium dioxide. I'm going back to Sephora today, is there even any hope for me?😩 I'd like to find a foundation with at least medium coverage (I'd be thrilled with full coverage) and a matte or satin finish. Please help if you can, I'm feeling so discouraged because I have bad acne scarring with some acne on my cheeks and my self esteem is nonexistent as it is :(

Shiseido perfect refining foundation is great. I've acne prone skin too, and this has NEVER broken me out. I go back to it time and time again - medium, buildable coverage that looks like skin, with a semi-matte finish. Covers my acne scars and controls oil so well.

Sharon- Thanks for the suggestion! I've actually been curious about Shiseido. Where do you find that foundation, though? I went to Lord & Taylor today and the woman at the Shiseido counter told me that foundation is discontinued. I see it on Sephora.com but there's only one shade.
Tomoko- I had heard that too but unfortunately it didn't work out for me :/
Livi- I tried that foundation about a year ago and I broke out from it. It was the lauroyl lysine. I realized it when I found reviews on Sephora about people breaking out from that foundation because lauroyl lysine is comedogenic. Thanks though!

How are you with salicylic acid? Almay Clear Complexion doesn't seem to contain any of the ingredients you listed (although it does say may contain titanium dioxide) and its got a medium to full coverage with a matte finish.

Urban Decay Naked Skin is the same deal. Beautiful foundation and doesn't contain those ingredients but does say may contain titanium. What is with that? Haha.

So sorry I live in Asia so I can't help you with that! I get it from the major departmental stores here though! They haven't discontinued it where I come from.
