If I have previously dyed my hair black, would manic panic crimson red give my hair a slightly red tint??

I believe so yes, but if you want to go full on red then you'd probably have to lighten/strip your hair of the black dye before you use the red :)

Tessandra is right, it will only give you a temporary tint but won't be very visible unless light is hitting it. If I were you, I would apply it at night and sleep with it in your hair (make sure to wrap your hair well and use an old pillowcase). Since it is a veggie based dye it acts as a conditioner and your hair will be super soft in the morning. Oh and make sure to rinse with cold water since red is a tricky color to keep I your hair. After you do it I would suggest that you put some of the Manic panic into your regular conditioner to help it not fade out as quickly. Good luck with your new hair color!
