To be honest , although I like the dress, I find it really overdressed for a dinner date. Unless youre going to some kind of 5 star fancy restaurant. Sorry :( but if you do wear it, I agree with Liz.

The appropriateness of the dress honestly just depends on where you're going. As for shoes I would definitely stay towards a more neutral tone, such as black or nude. Have fun! :)
